Our New Look Website!

Season 2018 has brought in some massive changes for the AFLMWA. 

Extra rounds, SportsTG, new sponsors, a bigger and better radio show on 91.3, an Optus Oval fixture and now a new website.

We encourage all clubs to invite their members and suporters to save this website in their favourites and check in reguarly for updates and reports.  All clubs are asked to provide a report when they host a fixture and take the opportunity

Wheatbelt Carnival

On Saturday 7^th April, 9 Country and Metro sides traveled to Wongan Hills to join the Boomers and in the 7th Annual Wheatbelt AFL Masters Carnival.

The 10 teams that competed were:

• Kalgoorlie Mines
• Margaret River Hawks
• Dalyellup Dinosaurs
• Bunbury Sharks
• Vic Park Pigs
• Warnbro Swans
• Kingsley Roos
• Northern Warriors
• Western Whalers
• Wheatbelt Boomers 

The two ovals were immaculately presented by the local Wongan Ballidu Shire and the weather was a fine 28deg on the

South West - Mixed Fixture @ Bunbury

Bunbury Sharks Hosted Collie, Dalyellup, Pastimes, Albany, Eaton at Hands Oval on Saturday 24/3. The idea was to have 2-3 Games, mixed in 3 x age groups.

Unfortunately, for a number of reasons we were lacking in a few numbers.

The last minute change saw us have one full 4 x quarter game. To do this, we split the teams in half so we had even numbers, from each team on each side.

Round 1 @ Central Croc’s & Rockingham

The Crocs held another successful opening day for the first split round of AFLMWA fixtures on Sunday March 25 at Houghton Park.

While the crowds were down a little due to games being played at other venues, those that turned up to play, watch and help out had a great day.  

The Crocs home day started off early at 9.15 with our annual integrated exhibition game where the Crocs and Coolbinia West Perth

Round 1 @ Quinns

Quinns Round 1 carnival was a great success with the weather holding off and all teams playing in the sprit of the WA AFL Masters, footy for kicks.

Families came along and enjoyed the bouncy castle/bungy run and face painting, as well as the excellent displays of football skills by all teams who played on the day.
