2019 Underway!

Welcome to season 2019, to the new players (female and male), all our clubs and the returning veterans of our league. This year is yet again full of firsts for AFL Masters WA, with the introduction of 3 women’s teams in the metro area, paid umpires in the South West, WAFC organised umpiring system in the metro competition, a return to full membership of the National Federation and for most clubs an updated/amended

BOOST FOR AUSTRALIAN SPORTING GOODS INDUSTRY WITH KOOKABURRA SPORT AND BURLEY SEKEM TO MERGE

Two Australian sporting icons today joined forces when Kookaburra Sports and Burley-Sekem announced an agreement to merge. The move will see the strengthening of the Australian sporting goods and apparel industry with the consolidation of 240 years of experience into one operation. It will also ensure these two pillars of Australian and world sport remain Australian-owned and continue to employ more than 170 Australians in addition to its operations offshore.

Kalgoorlie Miners - Contributing to the local Community

During a May weekend the mighty Kalgoorlie Masters Football Club hosted a mini-carnival which included 3 Teams made up of local Mining Companies.

The day was a huge success and drew a crowd of over 500 punters who were witness to some of the greatest football ever displayed east of Rottnest.

The Footy was most importantly played in terrific spirit and yet again some amazing draws were played out.
