Bunbury Sharks Hosted Collie, Dalyellup, Pastimes, Albany, Eaton at Hands Oval on Saturday 24/3. The idea was to have 2-3 Games, mixed in 3 x age groups.

Unfortunately, for a number of reasons we were lacking in a few numbers.

The last minute change saw us have one full 4 x quarter game. To do this, we split the teams in half so we had even numbers, from each team on each side.

This had the same intended effect of having the original age carnival anyway.

One of the best games of Masters footy I have been involved in was had. Barriers were broken, friendships formed, just the way our game was always intended.

I did not get a single bad comment about the format from anyone involved. In fact, everyone involved wants it to become a regular part of our fixtures.

A lot of laughs were had, some great skills (and even more bad skills ….hahaha) during the day. An esky full of Ice cold Bush Chooks after the game and Vossy slamming out a few tunes…

Doesn’t get any better than that…..
